Divendo was designed and built by Shivaj Raman, a student developer from Washington, DC, who builds tools for things that are hard to measure: financial literacy, rare-disease research, competition robotics and biological sensing.

Why Divendo exists
Students graduate able to dissect a poem or balance a chemical equation, yet most have never read a balance sheet, opened a brokerage account, or understood what compound interest will do to their lives. Trading simulators have no place for a teacher, and finance courses have no live market. Divendo puts both on one platform, and treats financial literacy with the seriousness it deserves.
What we believe
Rigor over gimmicks
Real curriculum, real data, real prestige. We treat financial literacy as the serious discipline it is.
Access for everyone
Free forever for students. A working knowledge of money should never depend on what you can afford.
Learning by doing
You don't learn to swim from a textbook. You learn markets by trading them — safely, with paper money.
Where we're headed
We're expanding the curriculum, deepening teacher analytics, and bringing Divendo to more schools every term. The goal is unchanged: a generation that graduates fluent in the language of money.
